Siembra Montessori: An Authentic, Prepared, and Culturally Meaningful Environment

At Siembra Montessori, we offer a unique educational experience: an authentically Montessori environment, accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale and rated 4 stars by Parent Aware—the highest possible rating. Our commitment is reflected in every detail, from the preparation of our classrooms to the specialized training of our guides and assistants.

We are a Montessori Children’s House (ages 3–6) with a distinctive approach: full Spanish immersion and a culturally specific environment that honors the identity, language, and cultural richness of our families.

A Culturally Grounded Environment: Identity, Belonging, and Community

We strongly believe that children learn best when they feel seen, heard, and represented. Our environment not only follows the principles of Maria Montessori, but also integrates authentic cultural elements that strengthen each child’s sense of belonging and pride.

  • Spanish is naturally integrated into daily life

  • Materials, songs, stories, and celebrations reflect the richness of Latino cultures

  • Families find a space where their language and culture are valued as essential parts of learning

This approach supports not only language development, but also self-esteem, family connection, and intercultural understanding.

AMI-Certified Guides

Siembra Montessori is guided by one of the most unique and specialized Montessori teams in the country. Our AMI certified guides and assistants are trained in Spanish under the leadership of María Luisa del Riego, Centro’s Early Childhood Director and the only AMI trainer in the United States currently offering Montessori certification in Spanish for Lead Guides serving children ages 3 to 6. This rare level of expertise makes Siembra a leading voice in bilingual Montessori education nationwide.

AMI certification ensures:

  • Deep understanding of child development

  • Mastery of authentic Montessori philosophy

  • Rigorous preparation to guide children with respect, observation, and intention

Each guide supports children with sensitivity, clarity, and a deep understanding of their individual needs.

Two Prepared Environments for Children Ages 3–6

We offer two Montessori Children’s House environments, carefully designed to support children’s holistic development:

  • Authentic Montessori materials that are accessible and well-organized

  • Spaces that foster independence, concentration, and self-discipline

  • Activities that allow each child to progress at their own pace

  • A warm, orderly, and beautiful environment where every element has a purpose

Here, children find a place where they can explore, create, collaborate, and grow with confidence.

What is Montessori Education?

Montessori education is an approach developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, based on scientific observation of child development. Its core principles include:

  • Prepared environments that promote autonomy and active learning

  • Hands-on materials that help children understand abstract concepts

  • Deep respect for each child’s individual pace

  • Guides who observe, support, and intentionally guide learning

  • Emphasis on independence, responsibility, and self-discipline

The result is a confident, curious, capable child who is intrinsically motivated to learn.

Siembra Montessori: Where Every Child Flourishes

Our mission is to provide a space where children can fully develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and culturally in an authentic, nurturing, and deeply respectful environment.

Here, every child finds a place where their language, culture, and potential are celebrated.
