Our BE@SCHOOL PROGRAM PROMOTES THE ACADEMIC SUCCESS OF ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH. IT IS THE ONLY CERTIFIED LATINE YOUTH PROGRAM OF ITS KIND IN MINNEAPOLIS:
Be@School helps children falling behind in school with individualized support to help them stay on track for high school graduation. Program staff partner with youth, families, Minneapolis Public Schools, and Hennepin County to increase school attendance, improve community connections, and provide families with knowledge, skills, and resources to help their children succeed.

Be@School also provides culturally centered programming that supports the development of a strong identity in youth, including summer activities at Centro Tyrone Guzman that provide opportunities to build long-lasting relationships with mentors.
IMPACT
Of children participating in the program, 69% improved attendance, and 56% did not have any unexcused absences.
