Truancy Prevention and Intervention Program

A certified community partner and the only Latino specialist in Minneapolis, we provide early intervention and prevention services to youth who are showing early signs of truancy with contracted elementary and middle schools in Minneapolis.

To achieve these important goals, Centro´s Truancy Prevention Program actively partners with students, their families, their schools, and Hennepin County. We work directly with the families and the schools, building a strong network of support to promote school success. Children and teens also participate in hands-on cultural art activities led by a local Latino artist at Centro.
