The Greater Twin Cities United Way has recognized Centro Tyrone Guzman’s Siembra Montessori with the “Best in Community Impact” award for its “profound impact on a community need” by preparing Latin@ children to be successful in life and school.
Siembra Montessori is a licensed and nationally accredited dual language learning center for children ages 33 months through 6 years. Read more about this award-winning program.
Centro Tyrone Guzman is only able to offer this high-quality education to low-income Latino families in our community through the generous support of individuals and institutions. Siembra is in need of supplies and materials for our children (see list below).
- Watercolor paints (Crayola or other brand ok)
- Sidewalk chalk
- Yarn (soft, any color)
- Potted houseplants (medium to large)
- Wooden jigsaw puzzles
- Soccer ball (size 2 or 3)
- Monetary donations for mathematics material, chest of drawers and playground gazebo
